The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers participated in the traditional face-off, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
